Todd has worked with individual clients, small businesses, as well as many non profits to ensure that every client is taken care of. “Our job is to make your life easier. Todd graduated from White Bear Lake High School in 1983 eager to move on to college in the fall. He continued perusing his passion by playing soccer for Gustavus Adolphus College and graduated with a BA in Accounting and a minor in History in 1987. He achieved his CPA certification shortly after in 1990 and his CITP in 2001. He specializes in accounting, tax as well as numerous business solutions and systems.
Todd spends his time while out of the office passing his talents onto aspiring hockey and soccer players by coaching for the past 24 years. He and his lovely wife Julie have been married for over 6 years now. With his 3 daughters, and Julie’s 3 kids, Todd and Julie have been very busy these past few years raising their very own Zabel Bunch.

Jim ensures that the overall experience at Zabel Sampair exceeds every clients expectation. He is the key relationship manager, and continually analyzes our firm’s capabilities and resources to match our clients needs. With over 20 years of experience working with many small businesses in several industries as well as with some of the largest investment firms and hedge funds in the country providing him with a broad array of experience in accounting, tax, and portfolio and investment management.
Jim gave up his dream of being a golf professional (not that there was a real chance) many years ago when he began working and found less time on the course. Today he lives for that two or three rounds a year and every year vows to work smarter and golf more the next year. To date, he has worked smarter, golfs less, but still dreams more golf ~ someday!
1989 graduate of the University of St. Thomas ~ received the CPA designation in 1993 ~ a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (CPA). Jim and his wife Bridget are third generation St. Paul residents and are currently busy raising the fourth generation to golf, play hockey, and grill New York strips on the deck.
